This view from our room overlooks the hotel pool in Richmond B.C. that is closed for the season. Autumn has come and there is no more splashing in the pool for kids having a good time and no more of those favorite drinks for Dad and Mom from the closed cabana until next year. In the meanwhile the intricate silhouette of the Japanese cherry trees will stand guard. The method used is dry brush with single strokes on hot pressed watercolor paper.
