Alberta farm painting
This is a wet-on-dry watercolor picture of an abandoned farm in the Rocky Mountain foothills of Alberta. The barn is delapidated and the house has seen better times, but the power poles are still standing ready to welcome the next tenant. The arable land is still farmed, probably on a lease basis by a nearby farmer. A road goes to the farmhouse but no further except for access paths into the fields. This area no doubt attracts deer hunters in the fall.
